Our thoughts and prayers go out to the members and staff of the Hamilton Police Service who suddenly lost one of their brother officers in a non-suspicious death on Sept 27th. On behalf of the CPCA family of chaplains, our deepest sympathies to the family, friends and peers of the officer. Our prayers also go out to Hamilton PS Chaplain Loretta Juanzarins, Trauma dog Blarney's handler (retired York RP officer), peer support persons and counsellors who are providing care to the family and peers of the deceased officer. Thank you for all you do.
May we, as CPCA chaplains of many different faith backgrounds, continue to pray daily for the safety and well being of police officers and civilian staff across Canada.
Deepest condolences,
BPS Constable/Chaplain Bruce Ewanyshyn
CPCA President
ICPC Director of Region 1
