On behalf of all CPCA members, our deepest condolences to Hillar's wife Anne, his sister, Lillian Lennox (spouse Robert Lennox); his children, Steven Alkok (spouse Samantha Alkok), David Alkok (spouse Dayna Alkok), and Kristina Alkok; his granddaughter, Emelia.
Hillar's love and respect for law enforcement officers and their families was tangible. Many of us with the CPCA have stories we can share; please consider doing so by clicking on Hillar's obituary link here and finding "Share a memory" https://www.mhfh.com/obituaries/Hillar-Alkok?obId=48602981

On a personal note, I want to thank each CPCA member who used the email address I provided in my June 4th Blog and Email Fanout to email a message to Hillar and Anne. I received this text from Anne today: "I know a lot of the chaplains sent messages to Hillar when he was still alive that we were able to share with him - that was so special."
During our Ukraine trip with Hillar, he continually had my wife Sheryl and I laughing or smiling. I think he would approve of my sharing these photos of him being silly with a Brandon Police Service teddy bear who was our maskot throughout our travels together. We love and miss you Hillar. See you in the clouds.

Anne and family,
I only knew Hillar about 7 years, but I valued him as a colleague and friend. I am truly sorry for your loss and mine.
Lord, have mercy. May Hillar rest in peace and rise in glory.
Hillar, was my Friend and close Associate especially in the early days of my Police Chaplain Journey. I'm indebted to him and so is CPCA-Ontario.I'm thankful for him. I will see you again.
Anne, you and your Family are in my prayers.
