Farewell Hillar - You will not be Forgotten

On June 4th, just before 1700 hours Mountain Time, our dearly loved friend and colleague Chaplain Hillar Alkok passed away. He passed peacefully surrounded by his wife Anne and his family.

This is only a farewell Hillar, and not a goodbye. I will miss my travelling companion and friend; however, I am convinced we will share great adventures together again.

"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words".

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 NIV

Words of encouragement and support can be sent to Hillar's wife Anne at Annealkok@gmail.com

Please keep Anne and all their family in prayer. Details regarding a celebration of life will be made available once they are received.

Rest well our dear friend ... your life here was well done.

On behalf of the CPCA Executive, National Leadership Team and all CPCA Members, our deepest condolences to Hillar's wife Anne and her family.
