Condolences & Prayers for OPP & Huron-Perth Communities

The police chaplains of the Canadian Police Chaplain Association extend deepest condolences to the family and peers of OPP Detective Constable Steven Tourangeau. We extend our sympathy to the family and friends of the school bus driver who also perished in the MVC at Hwy 59 and Oxford Road 33. Our thoughts are with all the First Responders and Investigators who now have the arduous task of reconstructing the events leading up to and including the collision event. We pray the shalom of God to rest upon all those who are impacted by this tragic incident. We pray for strength and resiliency for all the police chaplains, peer support persons, counsellors, supervisors, and administrators who are engaged with police and civilian personal affected by the incident. Once again, you are being called upon to serve with compassion the officers, families, staff and communities in the Ontario Region. On behalf of the CPCA Executive and Leadership Team, thank you for your service and commitment to all persons in your area of influence.

With deepest sympathy,

BPS Chaplain/Constable Bruce Ewanyshyn

CPCA President

ICPC Director Region 1
