CPCA Registrar Brian Krushel takes the icy Polar Plunge

Camrose Police: Freezin' for a Reason

On March 12, six members of the Camrose Police Service, sworn and civilian, took part in a chilling event to raise over $4,000.00 in support of Special Olympics Alberta, Carmose Chapter. Special Olympics athletes, coaches and supporters were on hand to cheer Chief Dean Lagrange and 5 others from Camrose Police Service as they immersed themselves in a pool of the freshest water in town, thanks to the Camrose Fire Department.

Seen in the photo are L to R: Insp. John, Dispatcher Lachlan, Chief Dean, hidden behind Chief Dean is dispatcher Bri, Det. Craig, Insp. Rene, and Chaplain Brian Krushel. Here is a link to a video of Brian and the Camrose Police https://www.facebook.com/camrosepoliceservice/videos/697147644967412/?extid=NS-UNK-UNK-UNK-UNK_GK0T-GK1C

Great job Chaplain Krushel - taking one for the TEAM. This gives entire new meaning to our chaplain expression of "loitering with intent" ... perhaps we can call your participation "splashing with purpose". As CPCA President, I thank you Brian for all you do to serve the police and staff of the Camrose Police Service.
