CPCA 1st VP Madden suits up for charity hockey fundraiser

George Madden, your CPCA 1st Vice President, isn't afraid to mix it up with the big boys for the sake of raising money for charity. George laced up the skates to play alongside the Airdrie RCMP who faced off against the Airdrie Fire in a charity hockey game on December 4th. The game was played to raise money and donations for 1st Club non profit in the community. It was a fun game with Fire blazing away with a 12-7 win to go up 2 games to 1 in the annual fundraiser.

RCMP Provincial Chaplain Coordinator George Madden appears in one photo between Calgary Flames Alumni Curtis Glencross and Jamie McClellan. In the other photo, George has the honor of presenting the cheque from the Flames Alumni with Calgary Flames Alumni, RCMP and Firefighters to the 1st Club ladies.

Great job George! One example of how chaplains build relationship and bonds of trust with the police officers and 1st Responders they serve.
