About the Event

As a result of the prevelance of human trafficking and sexual exploitation throughout Canada, the majority of Canadian police agencies have officers working in units dedicated to enforcing anti-trafficking laws to stymie deviant behavior of epidemic proportions. What affects does exposure for months and years of dedicated service to the enforcement of this criminal behavior have on police officers and their families? Law enforcement chaplains provide emotional and spiritual care to officers serving in all facets of police work. Gaining insight and knowledge to what officers face in specialized units will assist us to serve the needs of the officers in more comprehensive and effective ways.
